Common use and classification criteria for aluminum sheets
Common uses for aluminum panels are:
Lighting, solar reflectors, architectural decoration, interior decoration, ceiling and wall, furniture, cabinets, elevators, signs, nameplates, bags, interior and exterior decoration, interior decorations: such as photo frames, aluminum paintings, reliefs, etc. : refrigerators, microwave ovens, audio equipment, etc., aerospace and military, such as China’s large aircraft manufacturing, Shenzhou spacecraft series, satellites, etc., mechanical parts processing: mold manufacturing, chemical, insulation pipe coating.
Aluminum sheets are usually divided into the following two categories:
Thin aluminum sheet 0.15mm~2.0mm
Regular aluminum sheet 2.0mm~6.0mm
Medium thickness aluminum plate 6.0mm~25.0mm
Thick aluminum plate 25mm~200mm
Super thick aluminum plate Over 200mm

In the aluminum alloy, the grade is representative. The following is an example of the 7075T651 aluminum plate. The first 7 represents the aluminum and aluminum alloy group – aluminum zinc magnesium alloy. Aluminum and aluminum alloy groups are divided into nine categories. Among them, aluminum, aluminum alloys of 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7 series are mainly used. Among them, 1 series and 3 series aluminum plates are the most commonly used. Other series have less chance of being used in actual use.
The first category: 1 series industrial pure aluminum
The second category: 2 series aluminum copper alloy
The third category: 3 series aluminum manganese alloy
The fourth category: 4 series aluminum silicon alloy
The fifth category: 5 series aluminum-magnesium alloy

Technical quality requirements for aluminum sheets:
First, the most basic point is that the surface of the aluminum sheet must be clean, no cracks and some other oxidized impurities are allowed.
Second, due to the imperfection of the process, the surface of the sheet is allowed to have defects such as depression, scratching or roll indentation, but the depth must not exceed the allowable negative deviation of the sheet, and if the deviation value is exceeded, it will be remade.
Third, the process of coating the aluminum thick plate allows the falling portion of the coating layer and the bubbles of the coating layer.
Fourth, under normal circumstances, the surface of the sheet is allowed to have defects within the thickness difference.
Fifth, other requirements are mainly prepared by the purchaser and the supplier themselves, and then the process is changed.
The above is about the quality requirements of the surface of the aluminum plate. Although there are some errors for some reasons, it is absolutely impossible to exceed the controllable deviation value.
